My father was Ronie A. Mooney, ENCS [ http://ronie-mooney-encs.us ] and served in the US Navy for twenty years active duty and ten in the USN Reserves, and attended his grand-daughter Melinda's graduation ceremony at the USMC Boot Camp, Parris Island, S.C., and filmed the event. This event was one of the proudest moments of my father's life: watching his granddaughter become an official United States Marine.
